Battered Women's Support Group

Open to women who have , or currently experiencing domestic violence in their relationship. This is an open group you may attend weekly.

Haven Women's Center of Stanislaus

  • Provides free services to women, men, children, and teens and to people of ALLsexual orientations and gender identities/expressions.
  • Promotes safety and healing for women and children impacted by domestic orsexual violence
  • Offer 24 hour trauma response, case management, behavioral health services,legal services and volunteer training
  • Emergency Shelter Program
    • Provides a safe place for women and children that have a high danger level due to domestic violence or sexual assault
    • We provide food, clothing and a place to sleep for all clients
    • We also provide individual counseling/case management services,parenting, and battered women’s support groups
  • Youth Programs include:
    • Kids Count! Is an 8 week program for ages 4-12 who have been impacted by domestic violence
    • Teens Count! Is a 10 week violence prevention and youth empowerment programs for ages 12-17 who have been exposed to family violence, whether verbal, physical or emotional.
  • Teens Trust is an empowering educational program and peer support group for ages 12-17 whose lives have been directly affected by sexual abuse or assault.
  • T.R.U.S.T is a 10 week group for children ages 5-12 whose lives have been affected by sexual assault
